| 4:09 pm | I would try to paint the failure of wards in an optimistic light and say that at the very least, all of your dirt was brought to light by you and in your own words, but... I don't think that comforts anyone very much, does it? More fascinating than 'who thinks who is what insult', however, is the fact that the wards went down at all. The fact that strike-outs were also visible, and as far as I know you could still cast spells on the journal, leads me to believe it was not a simple case of magical failure so much as an admittedly cleverly designed spell that someone put within the journaling network. For those with Muggle knowledge, something like a hack? For those of you without Muggle knowledge... You should probably learn to catch up. Hm. Anyway, good luck to both teams this weekend. |

| 2:25 am | As lovely as the snow makes the campus look, I'd be lying if I said I couldn't wait to get back to better weather. Knysna's great this time of year and I've always been fond of spending my holidays in warmer climates. Unfortunately, I still have three more exams to focus on first, but at least these last three will be easy enough. Anyway, I only have one photo of home, but I think it says enough.
